ABOUT

We believe...

Most of our time is spent working.

And what we believe about work shapes our life.

Trailblazers who came before us showed how it’s done.

They taught us that every loyal customer who returned, every committed employee who stayed, and the inspired new talent who joined were moved to do so.

Because they knew something that many forgot.

Nothing meaningful happens until someone feels something.

We must win hearts before we win minds.

They taught us that All business is showbusiness.

And showbusiness is the domain of artists.

The storyteller, the performer, the maker.

The ones who mastered time-tested tools to move and enchant the human heart.

Making Business Art is for those who see things differently.

Who believe that work is not only a way to make a living.

And that work is an opportunity to feel more alive.

That we can treat work as a medium to express our talents, connect with others, and make life extraordinary.

That doing good work is part of making our brief time on earth worthwhile.

And that making our time on earth worthwhile is an artform.

Here we stand at the crossroads of business, art, and science.

Firm in the conviction that weaving these together is a gateway to make our work and time on earth more meaningful and enchanting.

And that by elevating our craft, we might even make some magic along the way.

If you resonate with this, welcome to Making Business Art.

The Other MBA.

Where we explore what business school left out.
And practice bringing work to life.

YOUR HOST

Ezequiel Williams

I help people design work, services, and experiences that resonate with and attract others. With an MBA and a background in cultural anthropology, I work at the intersection of strategy and human insight.

I created Making Business Art as a way to explore what we can borrow from time-tested tools from creative disciplines to make the broader world of work more human, more satisfying, and more alive. My aim is to share ideas and tools that help purposeful professionals make work that connects with and moves people in any domain. Weaving what I learn with design and behavioral science, I consider this project my Other MBA in the making.

For more than twenty years I’ve brought the tools of service design and innovation to teams at organizations like Gilead Sciences, ServiceNow, UnitedHealth Group, New World Symphony, Royal Caribbean, and Cartier, helping them serve people better and adapt with confidence.
